Zonta Club of Cleveland meets on the third Thursday of every month. Most of the Zonta meetings focus on a particular aspect of Zonta sisterhood.
September 20, 2007 Zonta member Beverly Scipio who is the manager of Women's Reentry Services at the Center for Families and Children was the keynote speaker at the September meeting. Three new members were also inducted into the club at this meeting. They are Mary Ann Freas, Patricia Hill and Anjali Rao. Adrienne Bailey and Roji Rao invited guests to the meeting. October 2007 The Zonta Club of Cleveland was host to the District 5 Conference. The conference which took place at the Hilton East in Beachwood from October 19 - 21, 2007 was presided by Governor Elaine Swanson with Kerry Dixon-Fox representing Zonta International. Nearly 90 members from Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia participated. There were some great speakers and thought-provoking workshops. November 15, 2007 Our service project for this month is to provide basic necessities to women just released from prison. We shall be preparing "care packages" for approximately twenty-five women.

January 17, 2008 The Zonta Club of Cleveland and Financial Advisor, Josalyn Murray will host a seminar for women titled: "A Woman's Journey Toward Financial Independence" This seminar will focus on helping women overcome the unique financial challenges they face. Featured guest speaker will be Tony Pettorini from Harford Investment Product.
February 21, 2008 Membership chair, Angela Wilkes and co-chair Germaine Gibian, will present a program on membership retention. The program will be at the Orange Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library
March 20, 2008 Once again, the Service committee will be sponsoring the Eighth Annual Amelia Earhart Fellowship Dinner and program. This is also the month when we recognize outstanding Women in History by awarding prizes to winners of the "Women In History" essay contest.
April 26 2007 We will all be very busy preparing for our annual fundraiser. We have chosen the Cleveland Skating Club as our venue for this year's fundraiser. A jazz luncheon is being planned. May 17, 2008 Our end of the year meeting will be held at the Cleveland Yachting Club. We shall be installing new Officers are installed and inducting new members inducted into the club.
